ဥရောပနိုင်ငံတွေကို Schengen ဗီဇာလျှောက်ထားတဲ့ လုပ်ငန်းစဉ်ကို ဒီဂျစ်တယ်စနစ် အသွင်ကူးပြောင်းဖို့ ၂၀၂၃ ခုနှစ်၊ ဇွန်လ မှာ စတင်ခဲ့ပေမယ့် အပြည့်အဝ မလုပ်ဆောင်နိုင်သေးပါဘူး၊ လာမယ့် ၂၀၂၈ မှာ အပြည့်အဝ ဒီဂျစ်တယ်စနစ်ကို ကူးပြောင်းနိုင်ဖို့ ပြင်ဆင်နေပါတယ်။

ဒီဂျစ်တယ်စနစ်ကို ပြောင်းလဲကျင့်သုံးရင် အွန်လိုင်းကနေ လျှောက်လို့ရတာတွေကြောင့် လုပ်ငန်းစဉ်က ပိုမိုလွယ်ကူလာမှာ ဖြစ်သလို ပိုမို မြန်ဆန်လာမှာလဲ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်၊ နောက်ပြီး နိုင်ငံကူးလက်မှတ်ထဲမှာ ဗီဇာစတစ်ကာ ကပ်ပေးတဲ့အစား လုံခြုံတဲ့ ဘားကုဒ် စနစ်နဲ့ အစားထိုးသွားမှာပါ။ ဒီလိုပြောင်းလဲတာတွေက လုံခြုံရေးကို တိုးမြှင်ဖို့၊ ဗီဇာအတုလုပ်တာတွေကို ကာကွယ်ဖို့၊ လုပ်ငန်းစဉ်တွေ ပိုမိုလွယ်ကူမြန်ဆန်စေဖို့ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ဗီဇာလုပ်ငန်းစဉ်ကို စာရွက်စာတမ်းစနစ်ကနေ ဒီဂျစ်တယ်စနစ် ပြောင်းပေမယ့်လဲ လိုအပ်မယ့် အထောက်အထား စာရွက် စာတမ်းတွေနဲ့ စည်းမျဉ်းတွေကတော့ အတူတူပဲ ဖြစ်နေမှာပါ၊ ဥပမာအားဖြင့် လေယာဉ်လက်မှတ်၊ ဘဏ်စတိတ်မန့်၊ ဟိုတယ် ဘွတ်ကင်၊ ဖိတ်ကြားစာ စတဲ့ အထောက်အထားတွေကတော့ လိုနေအုံးမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်၊

The Digitization of Schengen Visas: Does This Mean Requirements are Changing?

The Schengen visa will be fully digitized in 2028. While the process of digitizing the Schengen visa application for European countries began in June 2023, it has not yet been fully implemented. Preparations are underway to achieve full digitization by 2028.

With the shift to a digital system, the process will become easier and faster as applications can be submitted online. Furthermore, instead of a visa sticker being placed in the passport, it will be replaced by a secure barcode system.

These changes are aimed at enhancing security, preventing visa fraud, and making the process easier and faster.

Although the visa process is changing from a paper-based system to a digital one, the required supporting documents and regulations will remain the same. For example, documents such as flight tickets, bank statements, hotel bookings, and invitation letters will still be necessary.
