e-Visa Holders Still Cannot Enter Cambodia via Land Border Gates with Thailand

While the situation between Cambodia and Thailand is relatively stable, e-visa holders are still unable to cross into Cambodia from the Thai border. The two key border checkpoints, Cham Yeam (in Koh Kong Province) and Poipet (in Banteay Meanchey Province), which previously accepted foreign nationals with e-visas, have suspended e-visa entry following recent military tensions between the two countries.

According to Cambodia's official e-visa portal, these Thai border crossings will remain closed to e-visa holders until further notice. Travelers who wish to enter the country can do so via other official checkpoints, including land border gates with Laos and Vietnam, or through the country's airports.

All flights from the former Phnom Penh International Airport have been relocated to the new Techo International Airport (KTI), which began operations in September 2025. It is reported that e-visa holders can enter and exit Cambodia through any open official checkpoint, except for the two restricted gates on the Thai border.

ကမ္ဘောဒီးယားရဲ့ ကြေညာချက်အရ ဩဂုတ်လကုန်အထိ ထိုင်းနယ်စပ်ဝင်ပေါက်တွေကို ပိတ်ထားမှာ ဖြစ်ပြီး နိုင်ငံတွင်း ဝင်ရောက်လိုသူ တွေဟာ လာအိုနယ်စပ်ဂိတ်၊ ဗီယက်နမ်နယ်စပ်ဂိတ်တွေအပါအဝင် လေဆိပ်တွေကနေ ဝင်ရောက်နိုင်ကြောင်း သိရပါတယ်၊ ကမ္ဘောဒီးယားရဲ့ ဖနွမ်းပင်အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာ လေဆိပ်ကို ဖျက်သိမ်းထားပြီး လေကြောင်း ပျံသန်းမှုအားလုံး Techo International Airport (KTI) လို့ခေါ်တဲ့ လေဆိပ်သစ်ကို ၂၀၂၅၊ စက်တင်ဘာလက စတင် ပြောင်းရွှေ့ထားပါတယ်။ e-Visa ကိုင်ဆောင်သူတွေအနေနဲ့ ထိုင်းနယ်စပ်က တားမြစ်ထားတဲ့ ဂိတ် ၂ ခုကလွဲရင် ကြိုက်ရာ နေရာကနေ ဝင်ရောက်ထွက်ခွာနိုင် ကြောင်း သိရပါတယ်။
