The Visas of Foreign Nationals Living in The U.S. Who Support The Assassination of Republican Charlie Kirk Could Be Revoked

On September 10, Charlie Kirk, a close ally of President Donald Trump and a right-wing political activist, author, and television host, was assassinated by a gunshot during a speaking engagement at a university in Utah. He was taken to the hospital but later died from his injuries.

Following the assassination, the U.S. State Department issued a warning. The warning stated that foreign nationals should not praise, glorify, or mock Charlie Kirk's assassination online. It specified that anyone found to have done so, regardless of whether they hold an American visa, could have their visa revoked.

The Deputy Secretary of State said that foreigners who support terrorism would not be welcome in the United States. This warning reflects the Trump administration's policy of strictly monitoring foreigners' social media usage. The incident has reignited debates among the American public regarding the right to freedom of speech.
