Applying for a Tourist Visa to Malaysia

Whether you are traveling for business, pleasure, or to visit family and friends in Malaysia, you need to apply for a tourist visa. This visa allows for a maximum stay of 30 days and is valid for a single entry. You can apply at the Malaysian Embassy in Yangon, and e-Visa applications are also now available online.

The required documents are well-known: a passport, a visa application form, a photograph, a round-trip flight ticket, a hotel booking or details of your accommodation, and proof of funds. Regarding the bank statement, it should be for at least three months, and although there's no exact amount specified, you should have a minimum of about 3 million kyats.

I've heard that Myanmar passport holders are facing increasing scrutiny from immigration recently, but I wasn't hassled at the airport because I had an invitation letter, and I am older. The places I've visited are limited to Kuala Lumpur and the island of Kota Kinabalu, so my experience is not very extensive. Since the climate is cool and the place is peaceful, I would love to visit again.

လိုအပ်တဲ့စာရွက်စာတမ်းတွေကတော့ တော်တော်များများသိပြီးဖြစ်တဲ့ ပတ်စ်ပို့ရယ်၊ ဗီဇာလျှောက်လွှာရယ်၊ ဓါတ်ပုံရယ်၊ သွားပြန် လေယာဉ်လက်မှတ် ရယ်၊ ဟိုတယ်ဘွတ်ကင် ဒါမှမဟုတ် ကိုယ်နေထိုင်မယ့် နေရာရဲ့ အချက်အလက်တွေရယ် ရှိုးမန်းနီးရယ် ဒါတွေရှိရင် ရပါပြီနော်၊ bank statement က အနည်းဆုံး ၃ လ ရှိထားဖို့လိုပြီး ပမာဏ အတိအကျကို မဖော်ပြထားပေမယ့် သိန်း ၃၀ လောက် အနည်းဆုံးရှိရပါမယ်။ မြန်မာပတ်စ်ပို့ ကိုင်ထားတဲ့သူတွေကို ခုနောက်ပိုင်းမှာ လဝက က တော်တော်လေး ရစ်နေတဲ့ သတင်းတွေ ကြားပေမယ့် ကျွန်တော်ကတော့ ဖိတ်ခေါ်စာရှိတာရယ် အသက်ကြီးနေတာရယ်ကြောင့် လေဆိပ်အဝင်မှာ အရစ် မခံရပါဘူး။ သွားခဲ့တဲ့နေရာတွေက ကွာလာလမ်ပူရယ် ကိုတာကီနာဘာလူးဆိုတဲ့ ပင်လယ်ထဲက ကျွန်းကလေးရယ်ပဲ ရှိတော့ သိပ်မစုံဘူးပေါ့ဗျာ။ ရာသီဥတုက အေးမြပြီးတော့ အေးချမ်းတဲ့နေရာလေးမို့ နောက်တစ်ခေါက် အလည်အပတ် သွားချင်မိပါတယ်။
