Malaysia to Grant Visa-Free Entry to Myanmar Passport Holders
A statement from the Malaysian Embassy in Yangon yesterday announced a 14-day visa-free entry for Myanmar passport holders. However, the statement also noted that final entry into Malaysia would be at the discretion of immigration officials. This means the visa-free program does not guarantee entry into Malaysia.
This visa-free policy is not intended for those who plan to stay illegally. It's for travel purposes only. If you are traveling, please make sure your passport has at least six months of validity remaining. It's also a good idea to bring extra passport photos, a printed copy of your hotel booking or accommodation details, a return flight ticket, and around $1,000 in show money. These preparations should ensure a smooth process. We wish a pleasant trip to all who are traveling to Malaysia.
