All You Need to Know About the Saudi KSA Visa Platform

KSA is the abbreviation for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. For many in Myanmar, when they hear "Saudi," they immediately think of Mecca, a city visited by Hajj pilgrims. Saudi Arabia first launched its e-Visa system in 2019, which only allowed applications for a single type of visa: the tourist visa.

In 2023, the KSA Visa Platform was introduced, allowing for a wider range of visa applications. After a series of necessary upgrades and added services, the platform now accepts applications for various visa types, including Hajj pilgrimage visas.

While citizens of neighboring Thailand can apply for many of their visas online, citizens of Myanmar can currently only apply for one type of online visa—the one for attending the 2025 Esports World Cup in Riyadh. For other visas, including the Hajj pilgrimage visa, Myanmar citizens still need to apply in person at the Saudi embassy in Yangon.

KSA ဆိုတာက Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ဆော်ဒီအာရေဗီးယားဘုရင့်နိုင်ငံကို အတိုကောက် ခေါ်တာပါ၊ မြန်မာတွေကတော့ ဆော်ဒီ လို့ ပြောလိုက်ရင် ဟာ့ချ် ဘုရားဖူးတွေ သွားရောက်ကြတဲ့ မက္ကာမြို့ကို တန်းပြီး မြင်ကြပါတယ်၊ ဆော်ဒီမှာ e-Visa စနစ် စတင်ခဲ့တာ ၂၀၁၉ က ဖြစ်ပြီး ခရီးသွားဗီဇာ တစ်မျိုးတည်းကိုသာ လျှောက်ထားနိုင်ခဲ့တာပါ၊ ၂၀၂၃ မှာ KAS Visa Platform ဆိုပြီး ဗီဇာအစုံလျှောက်ထားနိုင်ကြောင်း မိတ်ဆက်လာခဲ့ပါတယ်၊ လိုအပ်တဲ့ အဆင့်မြှင့်တင်မှုတွေ ထပ်တိုး ဝန်ဆောင်မှုတွေ ထည့်သွင်းခဲ့ပြီးတဲ့နောက်မှာ ဟာ့ချ်ဘုရားဖူးအတွက် ဗီဇာတွေ အပါအဝင် ဗီဇာမျိုးစုံကို လျှောက်ထားနိုင်ပြီလို့ ဆိုပါတယ်။
