အမေရိကန်ပြည်ထောင်စုရဲ့ ပြည်တွင်းလုံခြုံရေးနဲ့ လူဝင်မှုကြီးကြပ်ရေးဆိုင်ရာ ကိစ္စတွေကို တာဝန်ယူတဲ့ အစိုးရဌာနတစ်ခု ဖြစ်တဲ့ Department of Homeland Security (DHS) ဟာ Visa အမျိုးအစားတွေ ဖြစ်တဲ့ F, J, I တွေကို နေထိုင်ခွင့်ကာလ သတ်မှတ်ဖို့ အဆိုပြုလိုက်ပြီ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်၊ ဒီ့အရင်က F visa တွေအတွက် ၄ နှစ်အထိ သတ်မှတ်ထားတာ ဖြစ်ပြီး ခုမှ J & I visa တွေကို နေထိုင်ခွင့် ကာလ သတ်မှတ်ဖို့ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
F visa ဟာ အမေရိကားမှာ ပညာသင်ဖို့ လျှောက်ထားရတဲ့ ကျောင်းသားဗီဇာ ဖြစ်ပြီး J visa ကတော့ Exchange visitor visa ဖြစ်ပါတယ်၊ I visa ကတော့ သတင်းထောက်ဗီဇာ ဖြစ်ပြီး နိုင်ငံခြား သတင်းထောက်တွေကို ထုတ်ပေးတာပါ၊ ဒီဗီဇာ အမျိုးအစား တွေကို နေထိုင်ခွင့်ကာလ သတ်မှတ်ဖို့ DHS က အဆိုပြုတာ ဖြစ်ပြီး F visa ကတော့ ၄ နှစ်နဲ့ သတ်မှတ်ထားပြီး ဖြစ်ပါတယ်၊ ကျန် ဗီဇာ ၂ မျိုးကို နေထိုင်ခွင့်ကာလ အသစ် ဘယ်လောက်ပေးမလဲဆိုတာ စောင့်မျှော်ကြည့်ရအောင်ပါ။

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is proposing to set fixed admission periods for F, J, and I visa
The DHS, a government department responsible for domestic security and immigration matters in the United States, has proposed fixed residency periods for F, J, and I visa. This follows the previous decision to set a four-year limit for F visa, while J and I visas will now also have fixed durations.
The F visa is for students applying to study in the U.S., the J visa is for exchange visitors, and the I visa is for foreign journalists. The DHS has proposed setting fixed admission periods for all three visa types. The F visa already has a four-year limit, and we now await to see what the new durations will be for the other two visas.
