Illegal workers arrested at UK solar farm

UK immigration authorities have announced the arrest of 15 illegal workers during a raid on a solar farm in Bristol.

Four of the individuals are being prepared for deportation, while the other 11 remain in detention. The arrested workers are citizens of Kazakhstan, Turkey, Georgia, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. They initially entered the UK on temporary work visas. Of the group, 10 had asylum applications still pending, while three had already had their applications rejected.
